Happy New Year Reformada Family!!!

Our Family Update

Writing to give everyone an update as to what is happening here at Reformada Danes. There has been a death in our family and it was my mother-in-law. She had ovarian cancer and her treatment was going great 9 months ago. Her numbers we looking great and City of Hope was doing an outstanding job.

My husband and I had to move to Texas in March-07 because his job moved. During this time she changed doctors for some reason and she didn't tell us why. Four months later things were starting to go wrong. She always stayed strong and never wanted for us to worry. She started throwing up and couldn't keep down food or medicine. This started in August and never stopped. To make a long story short we lost her on 12-2-2007. She was only 62 years old and a wonderful mother and grandmother. We will miss her!

Here is my hubands mother and step father Rod. Rod came apart of the family when my husband was 7 years old. Rod past away 9 years ago and was a wonderful father and grandfather. Both died in there in there early 60's. We miss then and will remember them forever!

Hello Reformada Family!!!

We hope you all are going well. We just had out stuff shipped from California and boy was that costly. We didn't have that much furniture just boxes. Well, enough of that.

Pascal has such a wonderful temperament! He allowed the kids to put my little girls USC shirt on him. He just sat there and was so cute! Here is a video that we took. I will post pictures of him in the shirt soon.

Pascal is sold. We met Maria and she is going to be a great mom to Pascal. He is beautiful and his temperament is outstanding. We will post pictures as we receive them.

Zina is finally home!

The weekend of 2/9/07 to 2/11/07 we tried to send Zina home three times. On 2/15/07 Zina finally made it home!! The new owners were so proud and excited to receive such a beautiful girl. Here are the pictures they have sent us. We couldn't be more happy with the owners!

This last Friday we were going to the airport to ship Zina home. We arrived at LAX one hour and forty five minutes early. So we decided to drive along the coast to see the beach. I decided to stop, let the puppy out and take the girls to the restroom. The beach was beautiful! Zina didn't know that to think about it. The sand wasn't like anything she has seen and the water was coming and going. She had a great time!

We at Reformada Danes do not sell to breeders! Do not even try to act like you are not a breeder. If you are and you lie you will pay for lying. We check out everyone who is interested on our puppies and we will not sell on to anyone who we do not feel comfortable with. We take great pride on our babies and we care where they go.

We are currently working on placing video of all of the puppies on the blog. We try to take the Lords Day (Sunday) off of rest and spending time with the family (we have four children ages 15, 12, 9, and 4). I plan on going to Denise's house to upload the video and place them on here. If any of you have requests you would like for us to say on the video (to say something for you children) please email us and we will make it happen!

We love camping along Recon Parkway in Ventura Ca in our Tahoe trailer. They have wonderful camping that is located along the side of the road and you have your own beach front next to your RV. Here is our beautiful Wilson Se. playing with seaweed and dragging it around the beach.

We are moving!

Hello Reformada Danes Family! As you all may or may not know were currently have our house for sale. We are moving to San Antonio, Texas and we are very excited! The one thing that has us sad is that we are having a hard time selling our home (located in California). What pleases me is all of my wonderful buyers. I love you all and I know deep down in my heart that you will take care of my babies as I would (if I could keep them all).

I'm still checking on the crates and I'm checking on getting the babies health certificates. Have a great weekend family!

Crate information!

Crate information if here! We went to Walmart and here is what I found.
Medium crate is $39.99. They looked okay so we purchased a few. When we got home they were to small. There heads were hitting the top. So we returned the mediums and purchased the large. They are big and cost $59.99. I will be call you all to get you opinion on this and have a great day!

Payments

We at Reformada Danes except payment through Paypal. Paypal is wonderful and it's safe. Paypal covers you when you pay Reformada Danes. You will receive your money back if you DO NOT RECEIVE the puppy. We will send an invoice when the buyer is ready to purchase the puppy. Please note that most airports do not have crates available for purchase. We will add the cost of the crate to the purchase price of the puppy. We are going to Walmart tonight to price the crates. When we receive this information we will post it here. If you have any questions or concerns please email us!

Here is Wilson (the father and 6 months old). He was walking a round the house like everything was great when we found him looking like this. He played mister innocent.

Information on Shipping

We would prefer that the buyers setup there own trail plans. Delta Cargo allow you (the buyer) to set up a C.O.D. when shipping your puppy. That way it covers you because if there is no puppy then you don't pay. I would think the other airlines that ship cargo would offer the same deal. We would recommend you to call them and see what they offer.

Here is a picture of Zina. We talked to her new owners today and they are wonderful. Zina will be going home within 3 or 4 days.

How will puppies get to there new home?

Puppies that are going out of state will travel on an airplane. We check all of the airline that ship cargo and find the flight the is the shorted and hopefully non-stop. The price to ship the puppies is based on weight of the crate and destination. We are setting up travel planes for three puppies right now. Our plan is to have everyone shipped in two trips to the airport. The airport is just under 2 hours from us and we would like to have them shipped in two trips and no more. More Information

The puppies are currently 8 weeks old. There weight is running between 20 to 24 pounds and growing like crazy. They will receive there shots this week and be deworm. We have been working on potty training the puppies for the last two weeks. They live in a puppy box that is located in the kitchen by the fire place (they love the fire and enjoy sleeping by it when its on). When they wake up they are taken outside to go potty. When we are sure they went potty they are allowed in the house to play in the kitchen. Then when everyone starts to get sleepy they are placed back in the box for nap time. When they wake up, we start the process again.

Apollo when home on a plane on Feb 9th. Everything went fine and he arrived scared but happy. We just received a email from Rober this morning and here it is.

Hi Renee,

Just a quick note to let you know that Apollo is wonderful and adjusting well to his new family. He has slept in his crate every night and he does not make a peep until morning. He is doing great with his potty training (not one accident yet).
We are thrilled to death to have him.

Amanda Des Terres De La Rairie
